What the bursary means: Attending the conference will be a fantastic chance for you to hear from professionals in the field and network informally with archivists. In return, we ask that the winners help out with tasks on the day - past bursary winners have helped by tweeting during the day; taking photographs; manning the registration desk; and writing a short article for the BAC newsletter. One of our past winners has recommended it because ‘The BAC Conference is a fantastic opportunity to hear first-hand about many of the current issues facing business archives, and I would really encourage anyone eligible to apply for a bursary.
This year’s Business Archives Council (BAC) is titled 'No Archive is an Island. Connection and Collaboration in Business Archives' and it will take place on 20 November at RIBA at Portland Place in London. A full programme is available on the BAC website here.
