A National Strategy for Business Archives (England and Wales) - The National Archives and its partners, including the Business Archives Council, have developed a strategy for business archives arising out of a series of round table meetings of interested parties. It is intended to raise the profile of business archives and promote their value to business and researchers alike. The partners have now issued a draft strategy for consultation. Find out more.
The European Association for Banking and Financial History has announced a call for papers for two events: a workshop entitled The History of Insurance: Perspectives and Research Sources (31 July 2009); and a Symposium for New Scholars (March 2010).
